Аннотация
Исследованы основные факторы, условия и направления развития работы кружков сельских культурно-просветительских учреждений в Украине в 1920-1950-х гг., в частности, особенности создания и развития культурно-образовательной и просветительской деятельности кружков изб-читален и «сельбудов» («сельских домов»). Проанализирована динамика их распространения и своеобразие функционирования в условиях усиления идеологизации и централизации советской власти. Освещены место и значение массовой культурно-просветительной работы кружков в распространении знаний, отраслевой литературы, развитии образования, просвещения и духовной культуры в стране в целом.
The main factors, conditions and directions of development of the work of circles of rural cultural and educational institutions in Ukraine in the 1920–1950s were studied, in particular the features of the creation and development of cultural, educational and educational activities of circles of reading houses and agricultural buildings («selbuds» – «rural houses»). The dynamics of their distribution and the uniqueness of their functioning in conditions of increasing ideologization and centralization of Soviet power are analyzed. The place and importance of mass cultural and educational work of circles in the dissemination of knowledge, specialized literature, the development of education, enlightenment and spiritual culture in the country as a whole is highlighted.
